Nuggets trade Anthony to Knicks

The Denver Nuggets have finally pulled the trigger on a Carmelo Anthony trade, sending the All-Star forward to the New York Knicks in a big deal.

Los Angeles would like to rid themselves of Ron Artest, but it’s unlikely the Nuggets would have any interest.

Anthony would be a tremendous addition for the Lakers and could give the team some much-needed energy. (more…)

Melo speaks about Nets

Denver Nuggets star forward Carmelo Anthony finally decided to speak out about all of the trade rumors.

Anthony denied receiving a text message from Amare Stoudemire urging him to come join the New York Knicks.

The All-Star did say that he would be willing to set up a meeting with the Nets, something he supposedly wasn’t interested in before and caused the deal to fall apart.

He said he isn’t worried so much about losing money if a trade doesn’t occur, but about trying to win a championship. (more…)
